Rob Reiner is an American actor and filmmaker. His acting career flourished in the 1970s when he starred as Michael Stivic on the CBS sitcom All in the Family. For his work here, he won two Primetime Emmy Awards. In the 1980s, he achieved recognition as a director with the films Stand by Me and When Harry Met Sally… He went on to direct the film A Few Good Men, which garnered him an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture. He also directed the films The Princess Bride and Misery. From 2012 to 2018, he played recurring role Bob Day in New Girl. He recently played Ace Amberg in some episodes of the new series Hollywood. He’s also had performances in the films The Wolf of Wall Street and Sandy Wexler.
