Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra had his career beginnings in the 2010s. His debut role was as Abhimanyu Singh in the 2012 box-office hit movie Student of the Year. He earned Best Male Debut and Most Promising Newcomer nominations for his role here. He also won the Most Promising Debut Male at the Stardust Awards.

Later in 2014, he starred in the film Hasee Toh Phasee, in which he won Most Entertaining Actor in a Romantic Film – Male and Entertainer of the Year at the BIG Star Entertainment Awards. His next performance was in Ek Villain, gaining him further fame. The following year, he starred in the sports drama film Brothers.

He went on to play Arjun Kapoor in the drama film Kapoor & Sons, as well as in the movie Baar Baar Dekho. His subsequent performances were in the feature films A Gentleman, Ittefaq, Aiyaary, Jabariya Jodi, and Marjaavaan. For playing the villain in Ittefaq, he was nominated for Best Actor in a Negative Role at the Zee Awards. He will star in the upcoming movie Shershaah.

When it comes to his fitness, Sidharth Malhotra mixes it up to stay motivated. That’s why he never follows a specific workout routine constantly. There are various factors that need to be considered that affect the kind of exercises he performs. For him, it’s all about incorporating what he loves to his fitness regimen.

“I don’t believe in one particular pattern but just make sure you spend an hour working out, at least four times a week – it could be anything like cycling, going to the gym, playing a sport or running,” said the actor in an interview. Whatever it is he decides to do to get his body moving and sweating, it doesn’t need to be in the gym. “Make an effort, not an excuse,” he said.
