Biography:

Will Smith was born on September 25, 1968 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. During the 1980s, he achieved modest fame as a rapper under the name The Fresh Prince.

He gained further fame when he starred in the television show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in 1990, which ran for nearly six years.

He went on to move from television to film starting with the 1992 movie Where the Day Takes You. He has since in blockbuster movies such as Bad Boys, Independence Day, Men in Black, Enemy of the State and Ali, for which he received an Oscar nomination for Best Actor.
