Biography:

Vaani Kapoor was born on August 23, 1988 in New Delhi, India. She began her career as a model before pursuing acting. She enrolled at Indira Gandhi National Open University, graduating with a degree in tourism.

She then went on taking a one-year program in Hospitality with Oberoi Hotel in Jaipur.

To start her acting career, she signed a three-movie deal with Yash Raj Films. In 2013, she starred in her feature film debut, Shuddh Desi Romance, which was released on September 6, 2013.

She will also star in the upcoming Tamil/Telugu remake of Band Baaja Baraat.
