Biography:

Sofya Skya was born on August 12, 1987 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. She attended Vaganova Ballet Academy. At the age of 18, she competed in the Miss World pageant, which she went on to win.

In 2007, she moved to Hollywood to pursue a career in acting. She made her film debut two years later with the 2009 feature Limelight. That same year, she appeared in the movies The Courageous Heart of Irena Sandler and The Tomb.

She then went on to play the role of Lt. Sasha Villanoff in Shadows in Paradise. Other film work includes Klub schastya and Assassins Run. On television, she made a guest appearance in CSI: NY.
