Biography:

Sky Ferreira was born on July 8, 1992 in Los Angeles, California, U.S. She began taking opera lessons when she 13 to polish her singing voice. In 2009, she secured a recording deal with Parlophone.

Shortly after, she appeared in the music video for Uffie’s “Pop the Glock” and starred in the independent movie Putty Hill. She then released the singles 17″, “One” and “Obsession” and went on to release the extended play “As If”.

Her second extended play, “Ghost”, was released on October 16, 2012 to generally good reviews. Her single “Everything Is Embarrassing” was named one of the best songs of 2012 by such publications as The Guardian and Los Angeles Times.
