Shelley Hennig was born on January 2, 1987 in Destrehan, Louisiana, USA. She is a beauty pageant titleholder who previously held the Miss Teen USA title in 2004.

In 2007, she joined the cast of the daytime soap opera Days of our Lives as Stephanie Johnson. She then received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in the Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series category.

She went on to play Dianna Meade in the television series The Secret Circle from 2011 to 2012.

As of 2013, she plays Christy Ackerman in the MTV series Zach Stone Is Gonna Be Famous.
