Biography:

Samuel Witwer was born on October 20, 1977 in Glenview, Illinois, U.S. He studied at the Juilliard School before deciding to move to Los Angeles. He made his first television appearance in an episode of the series ER in 2001.

It was followed by appearing in three episodes in the TV show JAG. He has since appeared in other shows including Dark Angel, Star Trek: Enterprise, Cold Case, NCIS, and Star Trek: New Voyages, among others.

From 2004 to 2005, he became known as Lt. Crashdown in Battlestar Galactica. He then made his film debut with the 2006 feature Crank. He was also cast as Private Jessup in the film based on Stephen King’s novel, The Mist.
