Biography:

Sameera Reddy was born on December 14, 1982 in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India. She studied at Bombay Scottish School in Mahim, Mumbai and completed a degree from Sydenham College.

Her appearance in singer Pankaj Udhas’s “Aur Aahista” music video led her to be cast in the 2002 Hindi movie Maine Dil Tujhko Diya, marking her debut. She has since starred in several Bollywood films such as Darna Mana Hai, Plan, and Musafir.

In 2005, she made her debut in Telugu cinema with Narasimhudu, followed by Jai Chiranjeeva. She then starred as Meghna in the Tamil film Varanam Aayiram, for which she received a Vijay Award nomination for Best Debut Actress.
