Biography:

Rashida Jones was born on February 25, 1976 in Los Angeles, California. After graduating from high school, she left California to attend Harvard University. She studied religion and philosophy and graduated in 1997.

She made her professional acting debut in 1997, playing the role of Johanna in the miniseries The Last Don. She has also appeared in various television shows such as Boston Public and The Office.

She has had several roles in movies such as I Love You, Man, Our Idiot Brother, The Social Network and The Muppets. In 2009, she started appearing in the comedy series Parks and Recreation as Ann Perkins.
