Biography:

Rachel Skarsten was born on April 23, 1985 in Toronto, Canada. She has initially started acting at an early age, making her television debut in The Famous Jett Jackson in 1998. Around the same time, she became known for playing Elizabeth “Bess” Lawrence in Little Men. In 2000, when she was around 15, she has appeared in the TV movies Angels in the Infield and Twice in a Lifetime.

In the early 2000s, her acting career took off after landing the role of Dinah Lance on the short-lived television series Birds of Prey. She has also played recurring roles in Flashpoint, The Listener, and The L.A. Complex. Since 2013, she has been starring as Tamsin in Lost Girl as a recurring character.
