Biography:

Natalie Bassingthwaighte was born on September 1, 1975 in Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia. She first came to prominence in 1998 when she started her acting career with the television series All Saints.

She followed this with a guest appearance in the show Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Lost World. In 2004, she ventured into launching a singing career after she was recruited as the lead singer of the band Rogue Traders.

She left the group in 2008 to pursue a solo singing career and went on to release her debut album, 1000 Stars, the following year. It peaked at No. 1 on the Australian Albums Chart and produced the hit singles “Alive” and “Someday Soon”.
