Biography:

Nasim Pedrad was born on November 18, 1981 in Tehran, Iran. She attended the UCLA School of Theatre in 2003 where she became a member of the UCLA Spring Sing Company.

She then started performing with the Sunday Company at The Groundlings. In 2009, she became known among television viewers when she joined the cast of Saturday Night Live in 2009.

She has also ventured projects outside SNL, including a guest role in the series Gilmore Girls and a recurring role in ER. In addition, she landed small parts in the films No String Attached and The Dictator.
