Biography:

Naomie Harris was born on September 6, 1976 in London, England. She attended Pembroke College, Cambridge, where she completed a degree in Social and Political Sciences. She later trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

Her first television appearance was as Joyce in Simon and the Witch. She then gained recognition for her role in the remake of the series The Tomorrow People.

In 2002, she shot to fame as Selena in Danny Boyle’s 28 Days Later. She went on to portray Tia Dalma in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest. She reprised her role in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End.
