Biography:

Meghan Trainor was born on December 22, 1993 in Nantucket, Massachusetts. Prior to her mainstream success, she released three independent albums. She then decided to move to Los Angeles after college to work as a songwriter, though it wasn’t easy as she couldn’t get herself a deal for a collaboration with other artists.

Her major recording break came in 2014 after recording the song “All About That Bass”, which she co-wrote. The song was a success, peaking atop the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Her second single, “Lips Are Movin”, was also a success. The following year, she released her full-length album Title, which went on to debut at No. 1.
