Biography:

Lisa Edelstein was born on May 21, 1966 in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S. She first appeared onscreen as a cameo in the film The Doors in 1991.

The following year, she made her television debut with an episode of L.A. Law. She has since appeared in other shoes including Seinfeld, The Larry Sanders Show, Wild Oats, Almost Perfect and many others.

Following her film debut in 1991, she starred in her first credited role as Penny Myers in the 1998 film Susan’s Plan. In 2004, she made her breakthrough playing Dr. Lisa Cuddy in the medical drama series House.
