Biography:

Lea Michele was born on August 29, 1986 in The Bronx, New York. At the age of eight, she went to a casting call for an up-and-coming musical. She was offered the role and, two weeks later, she was starring on Broadway.

She then has starred in various productions such as Les Miserables, Ragtime, and Fiddler on the Roof. At 14, she was given the role of “Wendla” in Spring Awakening.

She is best known for her role as Rachel Berry in the television series Glee. Her portrayal of Rachel has earned her two Golden Globe nominations, as well as an Emmy nomination.
