Larissa Wilson was born on May 5, 1989 in Kingswood, Gloucestershire, England. She began her career with the hit teen drama series Skins from 2007 to 2008, for which she played the role of Jal Fazer.

After Skins, she appeared in two episodes as Rebecca Webster in the television show Holby City. She continued gaining roles on the small screen such as the character of Donna in Kingdom and Anita in Sparticle Mystery.

She then went on to gain wider recognition after being cast as Khalillah in the 2009 horror-comedy film Tormented. The movie was well-received by critics, earning her substantial attention as an actress.
