Kevin McHale was born on June 14, 1988 in Plano, Texas, USA. He started his career as a singer, joining the boy group NLT. They released their first single, “That Girl” on March 13, 2007. The group announced they had split in 2009.

As an actor, he made his television debut in 2005 with the series All That. He has since appeared in other shows including The Office, Zoey 101 and True Blood.

In 2009, he landed his breakthrough role, playing Artie Abrams in the musical series Glee. For his performance, he received a nomination for Teen Choice Award for Choice TV: Breakout Star Male.
