Biography:

Katie Leclerc was born on November 6, 1986 in San Antonio, Texas, USA. She found out about her passion in acting when she played the lead role in a school production of Annie in seventh grade.

She then moved to San Diego to pursue a career in theatre at Valley Center High School. She later appeared in television commercials for Pepsi, Cingular, Comcast, and GE.

Her first television appearance was in Veronica Mars. She has since appeared in other shows including Fashion House, Saints & Sinners, The Big Bang theory and many others. She also currently stars as Daphne Vasquez in Switched at Birth.
