Biography:

Katie Cassidy was born on November 26, 1986 in Los Angeles, California. As a child, she took gymnastics, studied piano, guitar, and singing, then took dancing and acting lessons. She eventually became a cheerleader for the California Flyers.

She made several appearances on television, such as on 7th Heaven, Sex, Love & Secrets, among others. She has also appeared in The CW series Supernatural, Melrose Place, Gossip Girl and Harper’s Island.

Her film appearances include When a Stranger Calls, Black Christmas, Taken, A Nightmare on Elm Street and Monte Carlo. She currently stars as Laurel Lance on the superhero series Arrow.
