Biography:

Kathy Ireland was born on March 20, 1963 in Glendale, California. She began her modeling career when she was discovered by Elite Model Management at the age of 16, and went on to appear on the covers of Vogue and Cosmopolitan.

She gained notoriety when she was featured in the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue for 13 consecutive years starting in 1984, with her final appearance in 1996.

She has also ventured into acting, making several appearances in such television shows as Melrose Place, Boy Meets World, The Larry Sanders Show, Muppets Tonight, Necessary Roughness, and Mom and Dad Save the World, among others.
