Karlie Kloss was born on August 3, 1992 in Chicago, Illinois, U.S. She started her career when she signed with Elite where she made her first modeling stint for Abercrombie after moving to New York.

In 2008, she left Elite and signed with NEXT Model Management. She then walked a total of 31 runways in the New York Fashion Week, closing for Marc Jacobs and opening for Carolina Herrera.

In 2008, she was named the best model by People magazine. She has since appeared in ad campaigns for such brands as Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Hermes, and Victoria’s Secret PINK, among others.
