Biography:

Jorgie Porter was born on December 25, 1987 in Trafford, Greater Manchester, England. She first came to prominence in 2008 when she joined the cast of the popular soap Hollyoaks playing the role of Theresa McQueen.

For her performance, she was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2009 British Soap Awards. In 2010, she also received a nomination for Best Serial Drama Performance at the National Television Awards.

In 2012, she joined the cast of the reality show Dancing on Ice on its seventh series. She then announced in October 2013 that her contract with Hollyoaks has ended.
