Biography:

Jill Hennessy was born on November 25, 1968 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute. In 1998, she made her big screen debut in the movie Dead Ringers. During the same period, she landed guest roles in War of the Worlds and The Hitchhiker. From 1989 to 1990, she appeared in Friday the 13th: The Series. In 1993, she gained further recognition for her role as Claire Kincaid in Law & Order.

It was also in 1993 that she played a starring role in the movie RoboCop 3. The rest of the decade saw her starring in other films like The Paper, I Shot Andy Warhol, A Smile Like Yours, Most Wanted, The Florentine, and Molly. In 2000, she played Lynn McCale in the movie Autumn in New York. She then went back on television, playing Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh in Crossing Jordan. She recently appeared in two episodes of The Good Wife.
