Biography:

Jared Leto was born on December 26, 1971 in Bossier City, Louisiana, U.S. He shot to fame for his portrayal of Jordan Catalano in the teen drama My So-Called Life. In 1995, he made his film debut with How to Make an American Quilt.

He then received critical praise for his roles in such films as Prefontaine, Requiem for a Dream, and has garnered nominations for his works in the features American Psycho, Highway, Chapter 27, later winning the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Dallas Buyers Club.

He is also the lead vocalist and main songwriter for the rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2002, receiving positive reviews.
