Biography:

Helena Christensen was born on December 25, 1968 in Copenhagen, Denmark. She first came to public attention as the winner of Miss Denmark in 1986. She later represented Denmark in the Miss Universe pageant.

She then became prominent in the modeling industry, appearing on the covers of such magazines as Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and W. She also appeared in fashion campaigns for such brands as Revlon, Chanel, Versace, Prada, Hermes, and Valentino.

She gained further fame as a model when she became a Victoria’s Secret Angel appearing in its catalogs and television advertisements as one of the brand’s signature “Angels”.
