Biography:

Hansika Motwani was born on August 9, 1991 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Her first television appearance was as Tina in Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, a role she played from 2001 to 2003.

She has since appeared in other television serials including Shaka Laka Boom Boom, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Son Pari, and Karishma Kaa Karishma.

In 2007, she starred in her first adult role as Vaishali in the Telugu film Desamuduru, for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South. She also appeared in other films like Mappillai, Engeyum Kadhal, and Kandireega, among others.
