Eva Longoria was born on March 15, 1975 in Corpus Christi, Texas, USA. She participated in a talent competition after graduating that brought her to Los Angeles where she was spotted by a theatrical agent.
She then guest starred in Beverly Hills, 90210 and in General Hospital. Her big break came in 2001 when she was cast as Isabella Braña in the soap opera The Young and the Restless.
She gained wider recognition in 2003 when she was cast as Gabrielle Solis in the comedy-drama Desperate Housewives. She then received a Golden Globe Award nomination for her performance.
