Biography:

Darby Stanchfield was born on April 29, 1971 in Kodiak, Alaska, USA. She studied at the University of Puget Sound where she graduated with a degree in communications and a minor in theater. She also graduated from the American Conservatory Theater.

She made her professional acting debut with her role as Nora in an episode of Diagnosis Murder. She followed this with more roles on television such as in Angel, Without a Trace, 24, and Nip/Tuck.

In 2006, she had her first established role as April Green in the series Jericho. She also played the recurring role of Helen Bishop in the award-winning series Mad Men.
