Bar Paly was born on April 29, 1985 in Ural Mountains, Russia. She started her modeling career at the age of 17.

In 2003, she began her career as an actress by appearing in various television shows in the United States including How I Met Your Mother and The Starter Wife. In 2008, she made her film debut with The Ruins.

Her next film role was as Maria-Carla in Roman Coppola’s A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III, followed by Michael Bay’s Pain & Gain. She is set to star in the films Non-Stop and Million Dollar Arm.
