Ashley Greene was born on February 21, 1987 in Jacksonville, Florida. Her mother put her into modeling classes to improve her confidence, making her consider modeling as a career.

However, after being told that she was not tall enough and after taking a commercial class, which led to an acting class, she realized she wanted to act. At the age of 17, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream.

Since then she has appeared as a guest on television programs like Punk’d and Crossing Jordan. In 2008, her big break came when she was cast as Alice Cullen in Twilight.
