Biography:

Anusha Dandekar was born on January 9, 1981 in Omdurman, Sudan. She moved to Mumbai, India in 2002 and became known for her hosting works in such shows as MTV’s House of Style, MTV Dance Crew, MTV Teen Diva and MTV News.

In 2003, she made her Bollywood debut with the film Mumbai Matinee. Two years after, she appeared as Jenny in Viruddh. She subsequently landed the part of Rosa in the movie Anthony Kaun Hai.

She then secured two films in 2010, City of Gold and Lalbaug Parel, and the following year, starred as VJ Sophaya in Delhi Belly. She recently portrayed the character Ashwini Stevenson in Jai Jai Maharashtra Maaza.
