Biography:

Annaleigh Ashford was born on June 25, 1985 in Denver, Colorado, USA. She graduated with a degree in Theatre from the Marymount Manhattan College. She began her film career in the late 2000s, making her debut in 2008’s Sex and the City. That same year, she appeared as a minor character in Rachel Getting Married. Her career on television started a bit later, making her first appearance in Law & Order in 2010.

She has since made guest appearances in such television shows as The Big C, Nurse Jackie, and Made in Jersey. She then appeared in two episodes of Smash as Lisa McMann. In 2013, she gained wider recognition after she began playing the role of Betty Dimello in Masters of Sex. She’s also an established stage actress, winning a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her performance in You Can’t Take It With You in 2015.
