America Olivo was born on January 5, 1978 in Van Nuys, California, U.S. She attended The Juilliard School in New York City where she earned a bachelor’s degree.

She first appeared on television with her role as Laura Dawson in Chicago PD. She has since appeared in other shows Degrassi: The Next Generation, Warehouse 13, NCIS: Los Angeles, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and many others.

She also starred in a variety of films including Maniac, No One Lives, Love Shack, Neighbor, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Bitch Slap, and Friday the 13th, to name a few.
