Allison Mack was born on July 29, 1982 in Preetz, West Germany. Her first television appearance was as Nicole Jacob in the family drama 7th Heaven.

She has since appeared in such television programs as Providence, Opposite Sex, and Kate Brasher. In 2001, she made her breakthrough after being cast as Chloe Sullivan in Smallville.

She went on to star in several films, including Night Eyes 3, Camp Nowhere, No Dessert, Dad, till You Mow the Lawn, Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves, The Ant Bully, You and Marilyn. She currently played the recurring role of Amanda in the series Wilfred.
