Biography:

Alicia Witt was born on August 21, 1975 in Worcester, Massachusetts, USA. She was discovered by David Lynch at the age of five when she recited Romeo and Juliet in the television show That’s Incredible!. She was then cast in the film Dune in 1984.

She moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting after high school. In 1994, she landed her first film in a leading role in the movie Fun.

For her performance, she earned the Special Jury Recognition Award at the Sundane Film Festival and got a Best Actress nomination at the Independent Spirit Awards.
